<Poem>
多情卻似總無情，
 唯覺尊前笑不成。
 蠟燭有心還惜別，
 替人垂淚到天明。
<End Poem>
<Translation>
Fair and fine in looks and manner,
barely thirteen years old,
A cardamom bud at the end of a branch
early in the second month,
In the spring breeze on the three-mile stretch
of the road out of Yangzhou
There’s none behind the furled pearl screens
that can compare to her.
